  • Which Type R trans are you using? The JDM has shorter 4th and 5th but comes with a 4.40 FD. The USDM has taller 4th and 5th but ones with 4.78 FD.
    Hello Greg,
One of the members of this forum suggested that I get a hold of you for assistance. I am looking for direction and assistance in assessing a 1971 240z which I purchased. It was a SCCA IT S class race car and does have a log book dated 1991. I am looking for someone to view this car and provide some direction as to what I need to do to get it ready for inspection and racing. I am trying to get the car ready for an upcomming race school at Lime Rock this coming june. I am assuming that I would use this car to get my license.
Any assistance or direction you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Dean

p.s. the car is located in Windsor CT, close to Bradley airport, just off of rte 20, hamilton road exit.
Hi Greg, I have read many of your posts on IT, you seem to know quite a bit about Dodge Neons. I have been fighting a miss/sputter on my ITA 95 DOHC when hot, for a couple of years. To cover any problem that might exist I am thinking of redoing my ignition/battery cutoff switch. My car now has the ignition coil feed wires interuputed by the solenoid to kill the car. My question is, if you were to wire the cutoff switch how would you do it? I would be more than happy to pay you for your time.
    Thank You,

Hi Greg, I'm using my buddy's screen name. I haven't activated my account yet. My name is Rob,I have a 93 Nx. Iv'e been racin my Nx 2 years. I've done most everything to make her fast. I still think she is too stiff. Do you have any data from your old Nx? Any info would be welcomed. Thanks,Rob
Greg, My name is Dave Rensel and I must be crazy. I contacted you over the summer about setups on a 91 SER. I'm planning on attending a few national autox event in FSP. Should be fun doing battle against the Neons. This message is about getting your thoughts on my current project (already started it) about racing a 1994 1.6 liter 4 door Sentra in ITB. The car was free and nobody will be sad about wrecking a four door. Will the car (not the driver) be able to stay on the lead lap at a regional event with just Koni 8610's and bolt on engine goodies? Any imput or mental health tips would be great. My justification for this project is "it's better to race at the back than to sit on the sidelines"

    Thanks. Dave Rensel
