Any idea when the '07 race schedule will be released? Any hope that the schedule might have a couple of races in August?:dead_horse: July and September were packed with nothing in August it seemed. I can't turn my car around that fast.:birra:

It will be an interesting Roundtable meeting on 11/5.
If you have thoughts or comments, talk to you local region RE or race chair.
GL will look different next year. A lot of regions took some financial hits in 2006.

>> Time to change the forum name... I'm now in the GREAT LAKES DIVISION - No more CenDiv.

I'll be happy to change the forum name but somebody needs to tell me what has changed. I still see the same divisions on the SCCA website.

great lakes website:

http://www.greatlakes-scca.org/

area 5 is:

News and information for SCCA members in Area 5

(Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, North and South Dakota, and Minnesota).

per:

http://www.cendiv-scca.org/07area_5.html

some details here:

http://www.cendiv-scca.org/03racing/2006%2...o%20Drivers.pdf

essentially "Starting in 2007 Area Five will become the new Central Division, and Area Four will become the new Great Lakes Division."

i am guessing that scca's website will not show the difference until 2007.

i'll probably still go to/call it cendiv out of habit.

GLD, 4 lyF3, y0!

In a slightly related topic, I speed tested the new Great Lakes Division stickers and the drivers side one failed by delaminating itself into just a white rectangle right around "ludicrous speed". There's still a slim chance that it could have also been due to "upside down gravity", however, so we're still waiting on the final tests to get back from the lab before releasing our official statement. :023:

Ruck, you're supposed to keep the shiny side up and dirty side down.
Oh wait, on your car, the bottom is probably shiny too......

Wrong. It actually has a very nice combination of sound deadening, oil, axle grease, gravel, and coolant. With it, my car will never rust, and I have come to call it simply "icky-goo sealant". It works great, but just don't ever touch it; especially with your forehead. Trust me.
