Anyone run a 225 on these cars? Opinions on whether it can be done? What wheel offset (15x7) do you recommend (looking at 41mm)?

Thanks.

I can only comment on 92-95 hatchback. We run 225/45R15 R6s. We need to roll the fenders and use Enkei 15x7 RPF1 with the 41mm offset. Any clearance issues are circumvented by using a 5mm spacer as we have one mount on the rear or else the inside of the tire rubs up against the trailing arm.

Another EG example: I tried to fit 225/50/15 HoHo R6s under mine and that wasn't going to work. I was able to fit that size in another brand under the car... Fenders rolled with no spacer. Just because one mfg. size fits does not mean another will.

Best thing to do is find someone running the size in question and get a used up tire from them and test-fit. Good luck.

Thanks for the insight guys. It confirms what I thought from looking at the car up on the lift. It could work but will be REALLY close.

If anyone has more insight, especially first hand experience I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

We ran the 225/45/15 on our 99 SI with the RPF1 wheel package and just as described above need a small spacer for clearance at the trailing arm.
