Should be my second event of the year. Really enjoyed it last year! Had some great racing with a IT7.

Discovered I had a nasty crack (9" long running from the lower control arm to the top bolts of the knuckle) in my right rear trailing arm when I ran the car last October. Was not easily seen until I removed the lower control arm. Replaced the trailing arm along with some suspension freshening should help the whole not spinning randomly thing.

Along with some other winter tweaks really looking forward to seeing how the car feels. :)

If anyone is interested in doing some instructing this year for the PDX the cost is $60 to get your car on the track for the day. The obligation is to take a newbie in their street car and teach them the line around the track in multiple sessions throughout the day.:happy204:

Hi everyone,

I know its early in the registration process but I thought I'd give you an update on I.T. class entries.

Right now ITC is leading with 7 entries followed by ITA with 6. ITB and ITS have 2 a piece. Nothing yet from ITE, ITR or IT7.

If you are interested in a garage we have 10 singles and 7 doubles left.

Best Regards,

Todd

I didn't register for it because I might be stuck at work, but if I can be there I'll do it. Can we register late for this?. I like and hate instructing there (I puked 7 times last fall instructing there)

Hi Adam,

I understand the puking. If you can let me know the week of the event that's cool.

Todd

Happy Independence Day!

We are a little over a month away from the I.T.SPEC*tacular PDX, Club Trial and Road Races. Registration closes August 6th, 2013.

Updates on Road Construction for those traveling North I-71.

Mile Marker 35...reduction to one lane for bridge replacement over the Little Miami River. Times vary on lane reduction.

State route 314 overpass closed.....for those familiar with the regular route of exiting at mile marker 151 and traveling to Mid Ohio via 314 through Chesterville, OH. The overpass at mile 16 is closed. ODOT’s recommended detour is I-71 north to exit 140, turn left on SR-61 N, travel through Mt. Gilead, right on US-42 N, travel to Johnsville, OH. then turn left on SR-314 and right on Steam Corners Rd., Mid-Ohio will be on your left in about two miles.

Cincinnati Area Tech inspection for all PDX/Club Trial and Road Racers: On Saturday July 20th there will be a tech inspection at SMS garages from 10 am-2 pm. Location is 11353 Lebanon Rd. Sharonville, OH. 45233. Bring your Helmet and Hans Device ( if you have one) and have them inspected also. No appointment necessary. If you have any questions please contact Jerry Cabe at [email protected] or Gordon Benson at [email protected]

Unfortunately I am not going to make it. :( I lost third gear at Grattan over the past weekend and will not have time to rebuild the transmission in the next week & a half.

Don't give up too soon. I can work miracles for making racers be able to make their races.

Ask Kevin Ruck, Ian Green, Colin Brotha and a bunch of others.

Colin Brotha, 2011 NASA Nats......

http://www.nasachampionships.com/presspop.php?ref=242

“I got good start,” Botha said. “Manny Coats was behind me, and he worked me over for a few laps and went by. I got by Erik and then I didn’t have anything for Manny. I would get close in traffic, but couldn’t catch him. I want to thank HPD for helping us out. Myer Motorsports helped me rebuild my transmission last night as well as Hawk Brakes and Hoosier Tires.”

Sam knew I was coming up to spectate or help. He called me about a 3-4 shifter fork. Instead I brought a complete shifter fork assembly. Sam already had the tranny apart and I stepped in, finished it and by 9 pm Colin has headed back to his pits on Saturday night to install it, you can see the results on Sunday.

Throwing this out there because I am not sure if I will be making ITfest.

Since I am not a customer of Bonespec yet and am in need to have a transmission rebuild anyone towing from West Michigan area that might be able to take a box with them? :D

I can pay in either Cash or beer. I will even chill the beer for free. :birra:

Thanks!
