2nd Gen Brake Ducts

Hello - I am looking to purchase a brake duct kit for my 2nd gen ITS RX7. I have seen the duct that fits the front bumper to catch the air (without modification) and the tubing to direct the air to the front hubs as well. However, I can not seem to find the attachment that is bolted to the hub (i.e., like a dust cover with a nozzle that would hold the tubing in place and keep the air on the rotor).

Does anyone know where I could purchase a set or do most people make their own attachments for the hubs.

thanks
Wayne

ducts

check with mike (isc) to see if he has any left . his kit worked well with both noeses...86-88 , 89-91. there are others out there , mikes does work well.

On the same note but different, would anyone care to share some info/pics of what they used in a S5 nose?

I bought a couple of offset ducts from RPW, but I didn't like the way they fit, and couldn't seem to cut/trim them in any way to make them better. Looking for suggestions.

Sorry if this is a hijack.

FWIW, I bought my spindle ducts from ISC and they fit great.

Thanks guys!

So this is the part that attaches to the spindle:

if so, any suggestions as to obtaining the ducts/inserts for the nose of the car?

thanks

Just a quick comment about the 1979/1985 1st gen RX-7 Mazdamotorsports brake ducts. As shown in the old Mazdamotorsports book the ducts favor forcing the air towards the center of the rotor where most of the air escapes through the vented rotor which cools both sides of the rotor. I presume the 1986/1991 RX-7 ducts from Mazda are fabed the same way. If this will work better tham the others shown in this thread I can't answer but I can tell you that I had them on a 1st gen & I never had a hot brake issue/fading pedal again.
