north-track-with-mods.jpgJust an FYI was informed by track management today 6/9/14. That as of today until completed, the left side of the North Track paddock from the control tower toward turn one would be closed, due to construction to make improvements to this area of the paddock. If there is no space on the right side, you may use the new area before the new garages for the North Track from the garage toward the fuel tanks.

Thank you to all the drivers that came out over Fathers day weekend for the 62[SUP]nd[/SUP] Cumberland Classic races. The turnout was on the light side but there was some great racing. The SRF $300.00 had some great racing, Thank you to Alliance Autosport and SCCA Enterprise for donating two sets of front brake pads to give away during the weekend. Congrats to the winners of the Brake pads, Bill Hornack and Neil Killey. Congrats to all of the winners of the Saturday and Sunday Races. Steel cities is looking forward to the new longer course coming to Pitt Race in 2015, the expanded track will be approx 3 miles in length with some great elevation changes in the new southern portion .
