Are parts like front fenders and doors interchangeable between models (Si, DX,HF)?

Yes they are. The only difference is the Si side skirts are different.

Rick - I think the nose panel is the same but you need the filler for the headlight bucket or put the angled rectangular light in place of it. I beleive I am right on this but nor 100 % sure.

As for Fenders, are the DX & HF fenders made of plastic...as the Si fenders are??? I'm no expert, but I thought that the plastic fenders were an Si-specific item.

I beleive all fenders for crx are plastic.

the fenders on my DX are plastic. yes, the '86 and later SI's had diffent side skirts, door molding and bumpers. all of it is interchangeable. the side skirts are a pain in the @$$ to find. mine have been cracked since i got the car.
