Figured I'd start the thread. I noticed in another thread that parking went REALLY well from the eyes of some of the competitors. Congrats to Sandy and Fletcher for all their hard work....now guys and gals, keep us posted.....BTW, who won the Wesson/Crisco parking award???? :birra:

quick update: really nice day. the times are off from last year. from what i saw greg amy, bob stretch and moser were quick. off to qualifying

Rumor is that Greg has the provisional ITA pole by about half a second.

Mmmm, well if we are going to go with rumors, I'll add that he's wearing ladies underwear under his driving suit. :P

ITA quick update:

Just talked with Greg:
Amy: 1:43.424 NX2000
Botha 1:44.083 CRX
Moser 1:44.086 (Joe) CRX
Moser 1:44.313 CRX
Ruck 1:44.608 Integra
Darling 1:44.8xx Integra

*********************************

Notables: Stretch 1:45 flat Miata
Harmer 1:47x Miata

Unofficial extrapolated from both grid sheets. Word on Botha is his Pro-IT co-driver was who crashed it...could be wrong. Greg was scrubbing tires the second session and didn't push but said that the Mosers were REAL fast in the heat. Stretch was clicking off 5's lap after lap. While it might be a second and a half off in raw speed, it may be there at the end. Wish I was there!

You know, I thought his race suit looked a little bunched up in certain areas at VIR last weekend. Not too mention, he seemed to be having just too good of a time in his last stint...

Way to go Greg.........panties and all !!!

Updates...

ITB is gonna be a show. Three of the top 4 are Accords and they are all within .4 of each other after qualifying.
1. P. Keane
2. Vantage VW guy who's name I can't remember
3. Scott Seck (in Juston Poole's ex Accord)
4. Trever Degioanni

ITC is the usual suspects (minus <sniff> me)
1. Vesa Silegren
2. Gareth Rebstock
3. Scott Fruth
4. Chuck Reynolds[/b]

i ran the pro it today. very intense start and restart after a double yellow for picking up the array of wrecked cars.there was 3 or 4 cars wrecked. ita was on the light side but i was able to lead and have a great race with bob stretch. in 4 laps we ran side by side down turn 12, nose to tail, bumpdrafting, out breaking in 10,drafting past into 10. it was quite an adventure. you just cannot let them miatas buy to run a muck. stretch first, me and i think thorpe in a crx . jake won IT7. the arrc should be a war. rick

But all bets may be off tomorrow!! May be rain!! Crazy Joe came alive in the second qualifying and may be 10th (I think?)

New update....

Amy crashes and injured in wreck!!! The vehicle looks o.k. but Greg held bandages on with duck tape.

No, not in the car, but on his gyro scooter.

Your scaring us Dave.
I spoke with Greg yesterday before the second session and and he was making adjustments to the car for session two. Very exciting stuff - Will the Northeast rule again?
Weather does look shaky.

and ruck second with fastest lap if i am reading mylaps right.

now, more than ever, i'm curious about this panties nonsense!

good to see people you "know" through here and people you have raced with do well at something like the arrc. maybe next year i'll have to save some $$ to go.

Congrats to Greg... ITA looks pretty good. Greg has put in a terrific effort to get competitive and it's paying off...

I'm not sure what kind of cars were on the leader board for ITS, but it looks to me like there is some work to be done... unless there is a hidden story that I haven't heard that would explain how two cars could be an entire lap ahead of the rest of the ITS field... Must be terrific drivers... :eclipsee_steering:
