IS anyone using ATL's Well Cell fuel cell in their E30. If so, how's it working out for you? What pumps, regulator, plumming, etc... are you using?

We usually go with an 89-91 stock tank/pump system. The well cell is nice, but more expensive when set up correctly. Hot setup is well cell with black box accumulator and pump, about $750.

james, how can we move the pump/pickup to the right side so we can carry less gas?

Buy a fuel tank from an 89-91 325i. Use the fuel pump for that model, no secondary pump.

i second what james said. i was having all kinds of fuel delivery problems. couldn't run it less than 2/3 full without getting starvation in right handers. got a new 88-91 (used) tank from bimmerssouth and a new fuel pump. in practice last month i ran it down to 1/4 with the low fuel light coming on. no starvation at all. tank was about $100. was in near perfect shape when it arrived. no rust. bimmerssouth is in georgia and does not appear to do anything that has rust on it. the old one i took out has a rusted out cross flow pipe.
