:happy204:Rebuilt engine just came back from the shop. .030 overbore, decked head, head manifold surface and block for flatness, new valve guides, grind vavles, ARP bolts, add windage tray and baffles to oil pan. Plan is to have it back together by this weekend at MO.:eclipsee_steering:

Work done by Phillips Racing Engines here in Grove City. :026:

Head is almost too nice to put back in the car!

Thanks, Jeff. Can't wait to see what a decent engine can do! Then on to the next weakest link, the suspension.

Hi, Roger. Good to hear from you again. I have been running 87 octane regular, with stock timing (no fancy ignition stuff - as a matter of fact, no fancy anything!) I am even still running the stock suspension. But the new engine will help. I found an engine builder here in Grove City with I hope will work out. He has built road race engines and knows a lot about the Dodge 2.2 (even had some parts that I would have had to replace). The new engine is port matched, .030 overbore, windage tray, and both the head and the block were decked to insure perfect flat. New pistons, rings, guides, etc.

I have been looking at ground control as my next step. Let me know what your setup is.

We have been working on our team website. Take a look and let me know what you think. I spent a couple of hours gathering pictures and may update the site again on Thursday.

Take care.
