errrrrr this dam noew forum limits the number of pictures you can post up and my entire responce ended up deleted... I had a bunch of interesting pictures and comentary obout the Mt washington Hillclimb which we used to run with our ITB Audi's. When I was writing it I realized how much our cars have been through and how much fun I have had at all the different types of events I have run from Autocross, Ice Racing, Hill Climbs, Rally Cross and Road Racing. Wow and now thinking about it I think that I need to take the ITB car in a Rally Cross as that is the only event it hasn't participated in and been successful in. That car has had a good long life... anyway check out the website if you want to see the pictures, and if you ever have the chance run a hillclimb, I think out of all the events I ever participated in or watched the Mt. Washington Hillclimb was the all around best event!!! Maybe someday they will bring it back!!!

Pro Rallys, and Hillclimbs will make any turn on a Road Racing track easy (or not scary)... turns like the Lime Rock Downhill or Atlanta downhill (for those that think that turn is scary).

Anyway figured I needed to offer some sort of entertainment since I havn't in a long time!!! :)

oh and here is a link to pictures of my car after I went "Into" the Mountain near the half way mark!!! Careful, these pictures could be disturbing, especially since this is the car still racing against you today, and qualifying on Pole at last years ARRC!!! http://www.rstperformance.com/pictures/rst...di51rebuild.htm

Wow!! great photos thanks for sharing! I have always wanted to do hillclimbs...Im origionally from Andover Mass and have considered visiting the parents with race car in tow...maybe next summer? I hopefully will be moving to northern GA later this year or early next year so I can be closer to the center of all things racing...I need to finally spend the money on a motor for this upcoming ARRC so I can try to not be a back marker... :023:

Jeeezzz...you're not kidding! I bet Dave Gran wishes his car didn't get moved from ITA to ITB, ;)

There is a very active Hillclimb series in New England, run by local clubs under the New England Hillclimb Association.

The New England Hillclimb series runs a total of seven events at four different mountains in Vermont. All on paved surfaces, between .9 and 3.2 miles in length.

The next event is this coming weekend September 17 & 18 at Mount Ascutney in Ascutney, VT. No special license required, IT cars will meet the rules and several have participated in the past. 1st gen RX7's and Rabbits/Golfs are very popular.

Check out their website: www.hillclimb.org for more info and photos.
