Brake duction

Oops bad spelling should read brake "ducting"
anyway,
for the CRX guys... If anyone has some pics of how they ran their brake duction, I would appreciate it if you could post a link or send me some pics. I am working on my brake ducting and I am not sure how to do it. BTW, I don't have a CRX. I race a Civic DX, not to many of these cars out racing yet so the CRX has been my best example of how to do things.

Greg, I havent done my brake ducts yet either and have put a little bit of thought into it tho. Racer wholesale sells naca ducts for a reasonable price. finding ducting is cheap at a hardware store i believe. but, i think im gonna cap the end with a 3"-2" reducer to increase the exiting velocity, higher velocity would be better than more volume of air in my theory. Also BMWworld has a brief theory page of brake ducting.

The cheapest brake ducting can be sourced from any Home Depot! In the shop-vac section you can buy vacumn hose in 2" and 3" sizes and nozzles to use as a duct. Tie wraps will secure all pieces.

The routing the duct on the right (passenger) side is pretty easy. The routing on the driver's side is a bit trickier with the crank pulley and accessory drives to deal with.
 
If you haven't done so already, make sure you take out the lower plastic splash shields. This will give you more room for your ducts, with out worrying about crushing them with the front tires at sharp steering lock angles such as you might encounter moving around the paddock.
