Can someone list all the places to stay at LRP.

I could only find 2 the wake robin and interlaken inn.

Please tell me there are others hopefully much cheaper.

I think the Sharon Motor Lodge was the cheapest I had found with in 45 minutes of LRP. It was around $100/night. Not the nicest place however it's better than sleeping in your truck..............

The Super8 in Torrington is about 45 minutes away and there are some place is in Great Barrington(Holiday Inn Express) but they are not real cheap either (70 is the lowest and only on Thrusday - Friday is highter). Super8 is probably the cheapest.

Take a look at the Lime Rock website under Track Info Directory of Area Services.

I used the Mountainside Café & Cabins
in Falls Village, CT recently.
(860-824-7886 2 minutes from track)
The shower was not that great in the cabin I had, but they have cabins with two single beds, so you can split the room with someone. I think it was $85.00
The food is real good in the cafe as well.

Then there is always the really cheap way of doing it...sleep in a tent with an air matress.

Actually if you like camping, the race you are attending is in the warmer part of the year, this can be a blast. I've camped there a few times - esp. for the larger events there are many others camping as well. The social aspect is great.

(And I only live 1 hr away...)

Sshh, Bob, don't tell everybody about breakfast at the Mountainside or the place will be packed. It's the Official LRP Breakfast Joint of FlatOut Motorsports, among others - we go there to add 5lb of personal ballast each morning.

Go North Young man. We have Stayed the Super 8 in Lee Mass about 30 Minutes North just off mass turnpike.

Banna Foto used that for breakfast for many years. Still the best, good food and lots of it. dave(shhhhh)

Try this.

We used to stay at the White Hollow Inn at the corner of Rte7 and Rte112 but during the last year, the price got jacked up to $150 a night. Very exquisite establishment but no TV in the rooms.

Now we usually stay at the Hitching Post which is only 15mins down Rte7 near Kent. Certainly not exquisite but only $85 a night with a TV.
During the warmer months, camping at the track is the way to go.

Any weekend that is a holiday or a spectator event will have high prices at just about all places. Also if you are with Busch you better reserve NOW. Try Great Barrington also, about 1/2 hour away.

Stay at the track and join in the after race "Barrel fires" put on by the Shepard boys (and Ray).

The Doug Y, Drew Y, Dave P, Dick P, and other "old timers" generally are around to give the best stories of what once was.

Also around 11:00 things get interesting when the "drunk" people show up to give everyone driving advice...

Camping is great at LRP! When I worked corners there, we had a group of engineering students. Well, they went out and built a black box that is now called a power inverter (remember, this was back in '68 I believe). Had 110 volt light bulbs in our tents, in the middle of the field on the outside overlooking Big Bend. People were crawling all over that field all night trying to find the extension cord!!!!!

The Inn at Ironmasters in Lakeville is about 10 mins from LRP. Very well appointed place.
I've only stayed there in Nov when rates are lower (?). There just aren't any cheap places in this area and unfortunately some of the not-so-cheap ones are genuine dumps.
During the high rate season I cheat by staying with my brother in Rhinebeck NY - its only 40 min away.
Check out Ironmasters.
