Does anytone have a working check list for all that you need at the 24 hr event, dont want to recreate the 'wheel' so yto speak
thanks :023:

And a spare car parked nearby.

Seriously, many teams have spare assemblies made up and ready to bolt on. Sometimes it's faster to do a replacement of an assembly than the problem part, and nets fressh other parts in the process.

kirk seems to have the management aspect of endurance racing nailed. Maybe he'd share some secrets for something in exchange..;)

Newbie packing....

welder
tire changer
engine, trans, diffs
wheel studs, nuts
spare sway bar links
brake pads/ rotors
calipers/ brackets
metal and flexible brake lines
We packed everything that could be thought of because we had never competed in a 24hr before

does anyone have a formal check list for crew and pit, etc. i know the std drill just trying toget orginized

No. There is no formal list, you have to make your own. Start with equipment that you have. Then write down all the spares you have or can scrounge up. Then look at what you can fit in your truck.

Sometimes you look at it and say "if it breaks that badly, we'll just go home & fix it", but having swapped most every item in the driveline at somepoint or another & watched people use heavy equipment to do frame straightening, it doesn't usually happen that way.

You probably don't need the DA, board sander & paint gun at the track, and the tire guys should have the tire machine. But otherwise, bring it.
