Are the distributors for CRX Si interchangable thru the years? (ie. 88/89 90/91) In looking up part numbers and they do seem to be different, but hard to tell. If so, anyone know what the difference are?
Yes they can be swapped from year to year. The unit code on the ear is TD-02U. There are several that are offered by various parts places--use only this one as it is the correct one for a D16a6.

Am I correct in assuming that you cannot use a distributor off of a 1.5 liter motor in a 1.6 liter motor. My distributor failed last week. the bearings went south and the rotor elevated in the cap and destroyed it too.
If I need one specifically for the 1.6, where is a good place to find one besides the dealer or junkyard?
Check out Distributor King's website. They have about the best pricing and delivery and warrant their brand new units for a year. The 1.6 Si engine uses a TD-02U distributor that MUST have a Crank Angle Sensor in the base to run properly with the PM6 ECU.
