How accurate is the scale at Road Atlanta? I've heard it is not that accurate despite it being calibrated regularly. I weighed my car and it said I was 3 lbs under the minimum. This is with me in it (160lbs), a half tank, and an unmodified driver's door. I haven't gone crazy with the weight reduction. Just the usual stuff. This poses a problem during ECRs since I have to make certain I have a half tank at the end. No other CRXs I've seen have ballast and I'm sure they all come in with less then half a tank and all are really gutted.
 
I'd show up prepared to ballast. Everyone gets weighed with the same scales so the playing-field should be level even if the absolute number may not be 100% accurate.
