Central Florida Region and Daytona International Speedway have just finished inking the deal for a test day prior to the May Daytona Classic National / ECR May 2-3, 2009.
The test day will be a CFR hosted, SCCA sanctioned event held on Friday, May 1st, in conjunction with the weekend event.
This test day is open to all SCCA licensed drivers holding a valid National or Regional competition license. All drivers must show current valid competition license at registration. Drivers with a novice permit are not eligible. All cars must have a current SCCA annual tech inspection as well as safety gear inspection prior to going on course, as required by the GCR. CFR tech personnel will be on hand for necessary inspections.
We are anticipating four (4) 25 minute sessions per group. Adjustments may be made as deemed necessary to accommodate number of entries and adhere to timeframe allowed by DIS.
Entrance to the track for test day participants only will begin with registration opening late Thursday afternoon (April 30). Exact times will be announced once finalized. Pre- registration will be on dlbracing along with the National/ECR registration. CFR encourages competitors to register online to expedite at track sign in.
One-stop Registration - Test day participants who are also registered for the National or ECR will pick up all credentials at test day sign in. In other words, those pre-registered for the weekend event and test day, will need to visit the registration building only once. You will not need to return to registration.
Garages will only be available to competitors who are registered for the entire weekend. Test day entrants that have a paid reserved garage space for the weekend will be allowed to proceed to their assigned garage upon registration for the test day. Only those with a paid reserved garage space for the weekend will be allowed to set up in the garage areas.

Look for pre-registration to open on dlbracing within the next 2 weeks.
