The driver who passed away, Bill Rowe, was a friend of mine. Over the years he had instructed at a number of Ford club on track events at Gingerman. I was sent an email by a mutual friend that suggests that Bill may have suffered a heart attack or something like this that caused him to lose control and impact the corner station. I was also told that the impact alone should not have been enough to cause Bill's death. But who knows?
