The first Driving Impressions Pro-IT entry is posted on the NeSCCA site.
As drivers we asked for more track time and fun events, as a Jersey Racing Board member I hope this is the first of many things to keep SCCA amateur racing the best.

Thanks,

Pro-IT - 15 entries so far. Still early. Be great to have a full field, a lot of prize money that way. Top 10 in each class get prize money for each event. Top 8 in each class at the end of the year. Going to be a great series.

Regional - Looks like a good bunch of IT cars. Nice to see ITB entry that high. Gong to be some good racing in 2008.

Look for Bob Zecca of Driving Impressions to make an announcement about more sponsors and contingency.

Thanks,
Darrell

Who has a car for me? I want to race in the inaugural run. I got $250 to rent somebody's car....must be ITS/ITR. Andy - rent me Tim's car - I will win and pay him with prizemoney!

Pro It Sponsorship

Better late than never. Next week I will announce the Driving Impressions sponsorship details. I am also working with Hawk, Intercomp and Hans and hope to have answers by them next week. I believe the responses will be positive and we will be getting help on items that racers use or need. We are looking for additional sponsors so please contact me with anyone I should approach. I am running out of time but I will get this done. Thanks for your support.

Sincerely,
Bob Zecca

C'mon Greg - share the Integra with me for the enduro or somethin!

I had so much fun driving big bore down in Summit Point - think I'm hooked on it. Gotta change my sig to remove the Boxster. It's all power now.

Pocono will be awesome - sounded like a bunch of the MARRS cars are coming up to do some Blue and Grey battles.

Hey Ben, are you going to Pocono? It was good finally meeting you. I wished I had a better weekend but at least nobody died or got murdered.:D Maybe I'll see you up there.

Hey Dan - I'll definitely be at Pocono. I cursed you Dude! I saw you went from 2nd to 30th on the second lap. Got a great video of your race and took a bunch of footage of you and Eric King. I'll post the link when I figure out how to crunch down the file for YouTube.

I'm hooked on Big Bore. Had a great race and went from 8th to 3rd overall. I'll post that link too. The file ended up 1Gig! Not sure if that can be crunched down.

Cheers,

Ben

Naaaaa Ben you didn't curse me, it's that voodoo doll of my car that Lytle has, he keeps sticking pins in it before every race.;) BTW it was 2nd to 43rd on the second lap and it was avoiding a wild driver who would have taken me out trying to out brake me into T1 on a damp track. It was run off the track or get punched off the track. Getting out of the car I had some choise words for him & was really PO'd, at least the guy had the bal#$ to apologize. I guess you got some good video of my muddy car.:D
You take care, hope to see you at Pocono.

Please make sure we have your team information. We may not have an official program for Pocono in May (work getting in the way as usual) but we will have it for the rest of the events.

We will be presenting the checks on Saturday night at the party. Top 10 get prize money in each class (6 of them, possible 60 checks!) and Top 8 get prize fund year end at NJMP.

The grid should be on pit lane if with can coordinate that. We would like to do team photo if possible on grid. We would like to do photos in impound as well for use in the future programs and publications. Get a nice photo of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, if 4th shows up then them as well.

You asked for more track time and interesting events. Let us know how we can make this better. Remember this is the first one so I know we can make it better.

Expect Bob to have several announcement about sponsorship.

Thanks,
Darrell Anthony
