i was just wondering if anyone has looked in to running an e30 in ITA ? Because this year i am going to be trying to run one here in the pac northwest.

a 325e won MiDiv ITA this year. i think that 125lbs or whatever it was he got to take out of the car made a big difference. it's a car that seems to be good on point and squirt tracks with lots of slow speed exits, but lacks on the faster tracks.

well mine is an 1986 325e. i was going to run a race or 2 last year but did not get it finished. last year the cars min was 2800 i think and this year scca says 2600 i belive so now i have to take out another 200lbs. i plan on mainly running at PIR in portland maybe a PR( near seattle) race or 2. im hopeing to stay with the crx and the sm that run alot here in portland.

FWIW, The 325e's that we have seen in CFR are strong at Sebring (both short and long course). They were fast before the weight was removed, and well, even faster afterwards.
