Enclosed trailer floor: dark or light?

Just wondering if anyone has done something different than your basic gray floor or checkerboard/ATP, or the laminate that somebody did? Will a dark trailer floor make the interior too dark? The more I type, I don't think so...
I'm thinking of going with a royal/dark blue floor and main ramp, orange ramp ext. and maybe some trim, and maybe stick with the light gray/silver walls.
Also, did you remove the trim pieces before you painted? I tend to be a perfectionist, but I realize some things don't have to be perfect.
FWIW, the trailer is white, the car is silver with orange "accents".
Thanks for reading,
Michael

I always like a light colored floor, either light grey, tan, or white.

It's easier to spot dropped parts and fluid drips.

I recently put down black epoxy floor coating on the floor and ramp of my 24' enclosed. With white walls, I must say it looks pretty good and isn't "dark feeling" at all.

Thanks John and Ty. So far I've got one coat of what turned out to be royal blue; it's not dark enough so I'll fix that with the second coat.
I went with a light gray on the walls and so far I think it'll look good when I'm done.
Thanks,
Michael

Since I dusted off the digi-cam this weekend, and it finally stopped raining so I could work more on the trailer, I took a few pictures of the black epoxy floor coating I recently did.
