Great photos and videos, Ben. Watching the footage you took from the grandstand was especially cool. Thanks for posting them!

It was odd starting from the overall pole by default. Matt Rooke was mighty fast in qualifying but had engine problems (supreme bummer) and Greg Amy in his ITX/STL car decided to start from the back to let us have at it, leaving Nimkoff and I on the front row. Had a good race with Kevin Anderson and his ITR RX-8 for a while as he made his way past. Also had a good race with Greg Amy who was respectfully making his way up through the field to a 2nd place overall finish. I actually pointed him by on the back stretch at one point but he decided to tuck back in and follow for a couple of laps until he really had me (or was tired of following me). It was really interesting to see the different lines and driving styles between Greg and I through T1. I was admittedly a lost puppy in T1 all weekend and will have to go back and look at the data to see the fastest way through there. All-in-all a great start to the Pro-IT Season with teammate Tom Smith and I going 1-2 in ITS!

According to the results, that car did not exist...you were battling with a phantom...

;)

It was great running with you guys. Didn't want to mess with anyone's races, but since Nimkoff had checked out I figured we'd have a little fun...
