July 5, 2009 GoRacingTV.com announces the airing of the first two races of the Chicago Region SCCA 54th Annual running of the June Sprints ®, on the GoRacingTV.com web site.
The event was held from June 19th- 21st, at Road America, a 4.048-mile, 14-turn road course in Wisconsin, located between Milwaukee and Green Bay. Several winners were crowned with the first jewel of the “Triple Crown ®”. A SCCA Triple Crown is earned by winning a class in the June Sprints, winning a home division’s national points championship and winning the Runoffs.
“We feel good about how the first two races came out; feedback from the racing community has been good. We are especially proud of the production given our “shoe string budget” said Errol Tucker, producer of GoRacingTV.com. We are looking forward to editing the next eight races and getting them up on the site so that all of the competitors can see highlight of their race.
GoRacingTV.com plans on airing two new races each week until all ten races are aired.
GoRacingTV.com began airing episodes of its bi-weekly, web-based video shows in February of this year but has quickly become the site where club racers can obtain updated information and news related to the amateur racing community.
GoRacingTV.com, along with co-sponsors; Traqmate, GoPro Camera, MK Technologies, ESS Emergency Suppression Systems, Team DI and Defnder are enthused to be a part of this exciting project. For more information, go to GoRacingTV.com.
