Can joeg or anyone else tell anything about this model # I got off of an Escort Pony gearbox somewhere between a 86-88. It was at the junkyard. Its a 4sp.

I've been wondering weather a 4sp. like this would give me better gearing for racing?

Sorry Doug, I do not have the "Powertrain" Shop manual Volume for those years (too new!!).

I would guess a 3.59 final drive, however.
