How are the 86-88 and 89-91 front ends different?

Hi all,

I'm looking to add a front splitter to my '87 ITS RX-7, and I'm wondering what the difference between the 86-88 cars and the 89-91 cars is. ISC has one for the later model, and I'm wondering how to make it work.

Also, any benifit to a rear spoiler?

This is the S4 version.

The lower edge is different and if I remember Mike's unit, it is molded to fit it perfectly. The S5 unit provides much bigger stock holes for brake-duct routing.

We like the duck-bill off of the S4 SPORT model for rear.

Here is the S5...

Thank's Andy, that helps.

My next question is will an S5 nose fit on the S4? Looks like the leading edge of the front fenders may be different.

Anybody have an extra "duck bill" rear spoiler off of an '86 GTU?

They bolt right up.

As far as the rear spoiler, you really can't lose either way. The DB came on the SPORT model, not the GTU. Keep an eye out on eBay.

Here is another option:
