Wow, that's one shoe-horned schedule. I had to read through it a couple times before I understood it. Any news to report on improvements to the track?

I'll give my standard answer of "Maybe, pending weather and my desire to knock the rust off."

It's the same track.
We fully expect there to be some Group changes on Saturday dependant upon car counts.

I heard a rumor that due to a drag race crash that ORP had filled in the wall opening at the top of the straight.

So how are we getting onto the main straight? Maybe build a ramp or do we have to learn to jump the car without a ramp like skateboarders do it?

An update: pit-out at the track will remain in it's normal position, no changes whatsoever. :smilie_pokal:

Look forward to seeing you again.
If things get boring, I'll promise to do something spectacular....

You mean more exciting than the TR7 and BMW playing chicken going into 15 and knocking the concrete wall over ala Downing! That was one heck of a sequence.

Planning on being there, eventhough the weather forecast is getting progressively worse. I'm going to be pissed if it rains all weekend. I needed a freaking canoe at the Blackhawk school last weekend, so I've had enough of that, thank you.

Looks pretty good from what I see:

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. North wind around 7 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 63.

Rain is supposed to stop Friday evening.

I'm seeing highs around 62 and cloudy with 40% chance of rain both days. One of those weekends were you look at the sky non-stop wondering what it's going to do next.

Yeah, what to do?

Anyone know why the enduro was canceled? I was really looking forward to running both the regional and the enduro. Now to come out in potential rain for only once race at nearly the same cost...I dunno.

Don't be a wus. The rain is going to hold off and it will be an easy first race for you.

Scooter and I are leaving my place at 05:00 tomorrow. There better not be any traffic delays...

Awesome weather and a great weekend! Got the new FP Integra really hustling and down to a 1:46.6 during today's race....and then the axle exploded. But either way, I learned a lot this weekend and had a great time!
