I spoke to Dave Lapham on Monday night, and he told me that they are planning on having a 33 lap pro race for the ITS & ITA cars as part of the Monday event schedule.

Dave is still getting the final details done, but there will be 1st 2nd & 3rd in class 1st overall and I belive a hard charger prize. Please let Dave know if your interested and I am sure that he will have the finals by now. This could be the start of something big...

Dang, I'm away on vacation that week! However, I fully support the concept, and had we a bit more than 3-1/2 weeks' notice I woulda been there... - Greg

Well hot diggity! I totally support this concept also. Just might have to alter some vacation plans....

Tom, can you post information as it comes in?

Hey Greg,

You think Kirk can sling a VR6 into Pablo in 3.5 weeks??

Well Dave L., If you're out there, I totally support it. Bring it on man. Funny how Amy is already dipping into his excuse bag. Those are going to run out someday man.

Kevin (R2) if you're out there, if this thing thing goes down, you should come up and give it a whirl.
Thanks for the info Tom.

Besides, if I miss this vacation, half my revenue stream goes away...

Should be interesting, I know Tom has plenty
of extra Hoosiers from last weekend,It will be fun to watch you guys kill each other for that grand!Ray maybe some video tape would be good for this run.

Actually we were running the new Kuhmo 710, but that didn't prevent the radiator cap from being tightened

Yes it is, I just got copies of the entry forms via Ray Chee, but I suspect that if you contact Dave Lapham as [email protected] he can send or point you to them.

Spread the word the more the merrier, besides it's more than one of those 9 lap wossie regional races......

Interesting that its called a 'sprint' race. 33 laps is going to seem like an Enduro as compared to our normal 12-15 lap races!

Looking forward to this event! Import Challenge II?

Does anyone know if this is just on Monday or is qualifying on Saturday?

Qual is 9:30am on Monday and we race at 11:00am. I'll try to get more details as to when we can get in with the cars, etc.
Ray

Glad to see they didn't stick this race really late in the day when most people have already left!
