***Occupation: Consultant***

Chris, I was going to suggest you find another site to use that fits your requirements but instead I looked at your occupation & now I understand how you come on a site & after 24 posts (& I don't give a rats a$$ is you been lurking for three years)seem to think your capable of setting rules for the site.

IMHJ the people on this site are some of the best open posters (without guide lines)without pi$$ing others off that exist. I am not interested in the Beetle therefore I only read page 5 after reading your bitch post & I didn't view any out of the ordinary type posts.

Have Fun

What bitch post?

Are you that sensitive David? If so, you should really watch what you say here and how you say it.

I saw nothing bitching in Chris' post.

1. Chris reiterated commonly accepted list rules about conduct and personal attacts.

2. David wigged out.

3. Geo called him on it.

4. Greg made a joke about it because CHris had already pulled his post.

Simple really!

Well... I for one find Chris' post thoroughly offensive, rude, degrading, and completely uncalled for!

"Cheers" - really, what's up with that man?

Earl (feeling much better now)

Geo, if the original post by Chris was not a bitch post what the smell was it. I agree with one of his comments that posters should use there name to add some creditability.

Geo, there he gets credit for one part of his post. Are ya happy ?

Have Fun

ps: The post is gone therefore Chris may have had second thoughts about the post.

Isn't this fun?!

I've heard the phrase, "There must be something in the water", but I'm about to conclude that something on this site this week is emitting nth-dimension isotope thingies that are shooting right through the old Reynolds wrap.

Yup. Coming soon to a theater near you: The IT.com poster-snatchers!

[Edit: spelling. Honest! No real changes.

Damn! I miss everything!! I have GOT to get a desk job so I can keep up! This working in the day thing has me missing all the fun!

I do agree that the practice of calling yourself "Flat6er" or something, without listing your true identity is weak, and detracts credibility from your posts.

This site is pretty good overall, rarely needs moderation, (with a few recent and notable exceptios, mostly by one or two peole) and often discusses matters of actual consequence reasonabley.

Therefore, attachng your information becomes pertinant.

Fair enough. I don't believe it was directly aimed at me, however guilty. Anytime, I've made a comment where I thought it may appear that I am only saying what I did because I am hiding behind a screen name I have signed my name.

I used to have my signature attached to all my posts--but got rid of the IT car so erased the signature. I've now modified my signature.

How can I change my screen name and still utilize the same e-mail address? My screen name is part of my e-mail address that I have had for years. It is kind of conceded sounding and I'd like to change it if possible.

hey, I resemble that remark (hic) spelling included.

Dam, I missed another good controversy. miss you guys, my new job at the pentagon of insurance companys monitors computer use so I havnt popped in for a while. new job is going great up here in the great northwest. cant wait to get the EP car out on spokane raceway (longest straight in the US)

Daryl, it's good to hear the employment is going well. I hate that you missed out on some controversy therefore let's start a new controversy with reference to your comment. ***(longest straight in the US)***

The following is a post about Brainrd International in Minnesota. The RA is Road America. Can you say 4,700 foot straightaway ?

***T-1 at RA is just a normal turn compared to T-2 at BIR. Half way through T-1 ya start thinking "Should I do it? I think I can, I think I can...", and then if you have cojones, you over ride the overwelming self preservation instinct and keep your quivering right foot jammed to the floor. Done right, your spleen and right kidney will shift to the left side of your chest cavity from the centrifugal force, while you scream out "What the hell was I thinking?" But not to worry, after the first 100 or so times doing it, your testicles quit retracting and you get used to it, providing some one doesn't cause you to lift, there by sending you off sideways drivers right at 120+. Then you just have to start the process all over again.
From turn in at T-10, to braking point at T-3, it's over 1.5 miles before lifting.***

Have Fun

Daryl, that would be a straight that is 157.6 feet longer. Can't even get a controversy moving.

You win

ps: Ya didn't cheat on the 92% of a mile did ya?
