will be at (drum roll and trumpet fanfare) COTA!

Race chair is working on some sponsorships and other ways to keep the entry fee as low as possible. I'll let you know as soon as he tells me.

The weekend after the Grand Am race at COTA and the SCCA Convention.

Track Test and Tune on the 7th
SCCA Practice on the 8th
P&Q/race on the 9th and 10th

There are two places were I am expecting carnage. Turn 1 and at the bottom of the semi-straight downhill section that ends in a first gear hairpin. There are going to be more than just dented fenders. Just something for you to consider.

But if you just have to drive the E car, can I borrow the pig? :)

Yep, the full F1 or long course. Race chair wanted the short course and I had to twist real hard on his arm.

Jerry, I would be happy to let you drive the Pig if I get the new car ready in time and haven't sold the Pig yet. will need a way to get it there since I can't haul two cars, but we can sort that out in the future.

I don't know it has been awhile ( the Cooper incident in 2010) since I have been on track. Wouldn't want my rustyness to be polished off in someone else's car, if you know what I mean.

Going from a 200 hp 2700# (the Supra) car to a 360 hp 3300# (AS Camaro) car is going to be an experience.

that's why you should get back on track in a cheap 150hp 2600# car. especially one that can turn and stop. (and this Pig will STOP. I was outbraking Snader in his RX8... ;) )

Sure. bring a blank check too and we can sort it all out after the race. ;)
Make sure your trailer is big. the Pig comes with 2 parts cars and a 2-car garage full of spares!

Recieved this morning from Mr Ralph Waren:

Update on COTA. The 2013 BMW CCA Club Racing weekends at COTA in Austin are going to be June 7-9 and Oct 4-6. We will use the shortened track (which actually every race series will be using except F1).
