Lone Star Region is going to host an enduro and regional in October on the 2.9 mile course at Texas World Speedway. The format is being discussed. Several questions are in need of answers both from a driver and worker POV.
Would you be more likely to make the trip for an 8 hour instead of a 6 hour? Remember in Central Texas in October it is dark by 6:30pm
Regional on Saturday and Enduro on Sunday or the other way around?
Run the entire time or have a yellow/red/black flag session halfway through?
How important would a non-SCCA test and tune on Friday be?
Keep it IT, SM, SRF or allow GT and production?
Any other comments or concerns?
The BOD meeting is a week from tomorrow. I will print out the replies and take them to the meeting.
