That, unfortunately, would be illegal. GCR 9.1.3.D.1.o (p383), "Cylinder head gasket(s) may be replaced with any gasket(s) having the same compressed thickness as stock."

JeffYoung New member Jun 10, 2010 #4 GET A POTATO! DIE IN A FIRE! FAIL! FAIL! I SAW WHAT YOU DID THERE! Oh wait, this is the blue board, not the poopbox...... Yes, what Greg said. Only way to legally raise compression in an IT motor to the .5 allowed is cylinder head cutting.
