Until we get a topic...
****************************************

I want to reiterate the deadline for posting a contingency is JUNE 25th. This type of thing needs to be in the event information...
I have confirmed with GRM that they are interested in both an announcment as well as event coverage. I will manage both of those things unless anyone objects. Their deadline for the October issue is JULY 1.

I will also be writing the NARRC committee members an e-mail tonight letting them know our intentions and asking permission to submit the NARRC logo for print in those publications.

I have a started a spreadsheet logging the participating 'companies' with contingency...send your info to me at andybettencourt AT hotmail DOT com

Sorry Andy, I'm not interested in posting contingency for the NARRC with the idea of "Runoff's" style breakdowns. I think the whole idea of tracking cheaters has gone too far. We all know who the fast guys are and it will be quite obvious like last year (Shane .. you low life cheater) who all of a sudden starts dropping tenth's without any justification. It is about time you folks do what we did in the good old showroom stock days, get together discuss the issue and present the lowlife with some options. Do your own dirty work, open up dialogue, and don't be afraid of being the bad guy. If the guy ignores you than take it to the judge.

Tom,

I am not sure what you are saying.

* Not every company is requiring any teardown
* It is not known if that is even feasable
* I have nothing to do with it and don't even know if someone is
* YOU custom design your own plan

So, are you in or out?

OK, I'm in: The Law Office of Steven L. Ostrovitz is going to sponsor the "Drove it Like He Stole It" award for this event.

Winner gets a free arraignment and a soap on a rope.

Because I don't believe that there should be a teardown option initiated/funded by a sponsor, you can count me out. I will have a separate prize fund for my customer accounts

OK, fair enough. I would still think it appropriate that you get me the info. I see no reason why there shouldn't be a contingency posted for SBMS Racing customers.

Thanks,

AB

Andy,

Isaac, LLC is good for a sponsorship. However, we're hesitant to sponsor something if it leads to the appearance that we are taking sides in a controversy. (That's probably not the case, but I'm not up on this subject.)

We could offer a free Isaac Link or a 50% discount on an Isaac Intermediate, recipient's choice.

What categories are still open?

hey andy
i will put up $100 to the ITS driver and $100 toward the worker's fund for the best looking ITS car voted on by the workers!!! excluding my car of course because we all know how pretty that one is!!!! It would be by The Auto Collection. I am serious about this, it may motivate everyone to clean up their rides for this race. Drop me an email off line.

Andy,

That may be incentive enough for me to clean up my car and avoid you filing a protest against me!
