Need an opinion from more knowledgeable folks

I have a 2007 Toyota Tundra longbed with the 5.7l engine and towing package. It's 2wd and standard cab (if that matters). A friend has a 20' enclosed that I'm considering and it has electric brakes and a load leveling hitch. I live in the "mountains" of western North Carolina. Was wondering about opinions on pulling this trailer with a 2500# load.

It will work even better with e-load rated tires on the Toyota. I pulled a 20' with a Tahoe. It was scarey sometimes when it started to cycle. The e-load rated tires helped, and anti-sway helps too.

I ended up buying a dually, don't regret it.

You shouldnt have an issue with towing the trailer.
Three of my buddies all haul 20' trailers to the track with new Tundra's. They absolutly love them. Plenty of power and they say it doesnt even feel like there is a trailer on the back.

You will enjoy your Tundra.

I towed my heavy 48 Plymouth this spring with a 24'ft enclosed Featherlite and my 2002 2whl dr Chevy Silverado with a 8.1L Vortec. No problems. Has the Allison 4sp auto trans and towing package.
 
Two friends tow enclosed trailers with Tundras, one a 20', the other a 24'. Both are pleased...but I would still encourage you to ensure excellent brakes on both truck and trailer, and keep an eye on the rear suspension in case you might need to beef it up some.
