Anybody going to Sebring on the 6-7? I'll be there with a new (to me) ITS.

Assuming DHL shows up with a transmission on Tuesday, I'll be there Jim. Come on by! :023:

You guys are going to FREEZE
High temp of 59 degrees, low of 35 this weekend.
Glad I'm not going...

It's weather like this that makes you appreciate and enjoy that triple layer of Nomex that you gritch about wearing during the summer. It also helps to be in and enclosed car...did someone say "Touring or Showroom Stock" with a heater. Just pray that you don't break something and have to work on it with bare hands. :D

Bruce,
You need to prioritize things better. You missed a race weekend--for work??? :D

The Garcia BMW was fast again, winning ITS both races. The RX7's didn't seem to like the cold weather as almost all of them(us) were chasing gremlins all weekend. Hollywood had a great run during the Sunday "night" race, charging from 29th to 2nd and ultimately finishing 3rd. Congrats.

Awesome pics of the "potato chip"!!! my car was not complete yet (missing hardtop and front struts on back order) and Henry Van Vurst was kind enough to let me drive the old beater...SM is insane!!! i havent seen that much competitive racing in SCCA ever before!! there were many idiots out there but there were also many good drivers there. many thanks to mark for the pics!!

Thanks for the kind words Jimmy. Now we gotta get yours right.

Missed you Bruce. Your dad has some red vinyl to cover your headlights. Do it. :P

Evan, got any gossip(facts) about the SM protest(s)?

Mark, got any other shots of ITS 63 besides the one on the calendar we purchased?

Thanks to everyone who teased me, helped me, encouraged me and got out of my way on Sunday. That was fun. :119:

Anybody else think the track was unusually slick? Kinda scary in some places.

Hey Alan, that's racing. My bad for knocking the injector wire off, my bad for mis-calculating fuel consumption. I learned some things for the next one. Thanks for the good clean racing. See you at the next one...........in my mirror. :P

Hello Marc:
Good to see the 'silver bullit' is back...and I don't mean the car :)
Been away for awhile doing the SM gig but I sure miss the ITS days. We had some great times. I was just remembering one of the times we raced against each other, back in '99, Moroso ECR, when you raced the Mears/SpeedSource Rx7 and I was in Gregs' car...only good memories from back in the day. :023:
Wish you all the best.
Carlos Gutierrez
