Is there a test day prior to the opening weekend as in years past? I see there's a mixed cars/bikes on the 23rd according to the NHMS website, but that is after the opening weekend.

Also, who is the contact person for the school? Mushnick?

SCCA only test days are listed on the SCCA page on the NHMS site not the test day page.

Today, the only thing Mushnick can be contacted for is where to get the best deal on baby diappers :lol:

Are SCCA Only test days at NHMS open to SCCA drivers who are not registered to run in the race event immediately following??
I have a Regional licence, can I test my car at NHMS on the SCCA test day prior to a National race weekend.
Does anyone know the $$ cost for these days.
I live about 20 minutes away and these dates could be helpful, if I am eligible to use them.

yes you can run, i remember $150/day $100/half day

Just show up. Ready to roll about 8:45am will get you more track time than you can handle.

Also: Because NASCAR is goingto be there this weekend, I have been told that the gates will be locked at 10:00pm and only the South garages are available for rent.
 
I might try for the school, but timing for work is perfectly bad! Not even really sure that I can make the race... but we shall see.
 
Does anyone know if you can run a half day track day in the afternoon or do you have to be there in the AM. Or do I need to call the track or the SCCA region?

Our friend Tim is planning on the school in his ITB Golf... He should be a good one to watch!!!

I am hoping to help him or Steward... Not sure though as I am going on vaca to california at the end of the month and getting out of work might be tough :(

BBR will be there with several Miatas and a 240sx in the school. Brandon and I will be busy keeping them all going but if anyone needs help with anything feel free to come find us!
