I have a neon that we have removed the catalytic converter. It has two o2 sensors, one before and one after the cat. Are they both still needed to have the car runproperly?
only the one before the converter is needed for proper operation i believe...racing beat has a dummy sensor for the miata after catalyst sensor...the one after the catalyst just measures its efficiency (catalytic converter) maybe that one can be adapted for your application??? just a thought...
Some people use a "test pipe" with a bung as close to the far end as possible. There are also O2 simulators on the market. Then ther is the resistor trick that is mentioned on several Honda boards. I would think someone on the Neon boards has this worked out.
