Any one happen to know what size the banjo's are on the 2nd gen oil cooler, also the one on the rear of the motor, and lastly, is there an AN fitting for the front? Oooh, what size line should i run? -8? -10? gonna try and replace the lines so i can put the oil cooler in a better spot for air flow.

Thanks again

Racing Beat and Mazdatrix has the fitting in a -10 size. Comp might??? I bought the fittings from Racing Beat and then made my own hoses. Saved quite a bit.

Thanks Chris. I'm a little hesitant buying them premade, not sure how long i'm gonna need. Think i'll buy the fittings from RB and build my own, need 3 of the 16mm and 1 18mm. hope that's it, whole thing might cost $100, with all the line fttings. but then i can put it where i want.

Anyone ever use the blue "socketless hose and fittings, i've always worked with the steelbraided stuff, just wonder how it holds up in comparison.

Thanks again

Chris,

The Aeroquip Socketless hose and the braided AQP hose have the exact same operating and burst pressure ratings. The braided outer covering is primarily for abrasion resistance. Unless the hoses are routed in a manner that expose them to debris, contact, or if they rub on something, the socketless stuff should work just fine.

If you use the socketless hose put a hose clamp on it for piece of mind. I tried socketless on my RX3 when I first got it and dumped oil all over the ground when I started it up on a cold morning. With the hose clamp I had no more problem.
