Not to go off topic but wow Puerto Rico... I didn't realize SCCA had a lot of racing their. Do you have multiple track or just one? How many cars do you usually get?

Sorry i am of no use to your actual question... :)

I bought all my 1.8l 16V rebuild parts a few years ago from Raffi at Eurosport.
http://www.eurosportacc.com/
He was running a 1.8l 16V in ITA on the West Coast, not sure if he still does but he'd be a good person to talk to and get parts from.

P.S. no the replacement parts aren't listed on the website, just give him a ring and tell him what you want.

Raffi is good people. His cousin used to run 24-7parts, and was where I got most of my hard parts. They did have a hard time on the .040 over 8v slugs though.

We can use aftermarket forged parts, as long as they are identical in size and shape to the OEM stuff...

Yes ,We race here on Puerto Rico. We have 2 race track. but for the moment , only racing in one of them, Salinas Int. Speedway. we are not racing that much, and we got like 30 cars total in diferent categories. on the IT-A class only 8 cars. look for pic in www.radazone.com.
and thanks for the info on the pistons.

I have a set of good used STD pistons I would sell for $40 plus shipping. All the above listed sources are good, but if you just want a quick repair and your bores are good IM me.
