Poll on steering column stalks, etc.

Hi, here's another poll since this subject came up (and was flogged ad nauseum) in the Fastrack thread. I'll add the results of this to my letter to the comp board. Everybody, opinions please:

1) Should steering column stalks (wiper, turn signal, cruise control, etc.) be allowed to be removed from IT cars?

2) Should it be allowed to add new switches/relays to the electrical harness to control miscellaneous allowable functions on the car such as the starter, washer/wiper, aux headlights, electric fan, etc. so long as the switches/relays do not enable any prohibited functions, or otherwise violate any other provisions of the GCR or ITCS?

No
No - not to simply replace switches that perform stock functions but "yes" if additional, legal deviced have been added and require them (e.g., electric fan, cool suit pump, etc.)

No.
No.

There is no reason to change these items from stock. And yes, I do have the washer bottle, it does function, and still has washer fluid in it.

no. I think they're doing a good job with keeping the rules creep to a minimum, and even though some of this stuff doiesn't make sense, the line has to be drawn somewhere.

Guys, just answer the poll and move on - don't bog the thread down as the man is trying to collect data.
