There's hope....I'm still in early development. The motor is put together very well....balanced. I haven't gotten to the head yet...we were trying to make a race and just seated the valves and installed . I still plan to port match and deck it within limitations. The big item we found is that no one makes a 'racing' header for the 'S'. We took a 928 S4 header, chopped it up, welded it back and immediately took 4-5 seconds off at Daytona...big difference. I'm working with someone now to take our mule and make a header. After that, we can get it on the dyno and look to do some chip work as allowed. This should give us some major HP, then the RX7's should be more manageable. From what I've heard, the Speedsource RX 7's have huge $'s plus several years in development but I think there's is lots of HP there to find.
