I'm new to the SCCA--just finished my first 2 races to get my regional license over Memorial day. I was really looking forward to RAL in August.
I've got an ITA Miata (a '95).
This weekend, my wife was running the car with COM at NHMS and slid into the wall exiting the oval. The front suspension is all collapsed. The subframe looks bad. The firewall is twisted as is the passenger floor.
I'm trying to figure out who would be best to advise if the car's repairable or if we're better off walking away from it.
I know the Spec Pinata guys regularly pull miracles out of hats, but I don't want to end up with a car I can't trust.
Can anyone offer some guidance?
