Quick Carburetor Fuel Inlet Question

I'm getting my IT7 car ready to race and reading through the GCR again to double check things and see if anything major changed since last year. My car has a logbook, but hasn't had an annual done since 2007.

I just want to double check this mentioning:

9.3.13. CARBURETOR FUEL INLET FITTING
On all carburetors, (except SU, C and D Sports Racing cars with motorcy-cle-type carburetors and Formula 500 Mikuni VM38) with a non-threaded fuel inlet fitting, the fitting shall be replaced by drilling and tapping the carburetor body for a threaded fitting.

Am I right in thinking this means I need AN type fittings? Thanks!

The issue is to get rid of the pressed in fuel inlet. They come loose and fall out. (mostly the little webers ).
Pull/twist the inlet with plyers gently. If it moves, take it out. The required fix is to tap the hole.
If you can't move it , run it and watch it on a regular basis for coming loose. IMHO.

The fuel line spec is open. Hose/clamps etc. all good.
