....

well, Ive been looking and looking at motorsportsreg for some time, and it seems that registration is STILL NOT YET OPEN!!

when I read your post that there were 33 entrants, I looked again, and found that registration is STILL NOT YET OPEN!!

so I scratched my head, and looked again, and saw the event is listed TWICE, one good post (green) and one bad (red) .. see pic

Whoever is the interface to motorsportsreg should delete the red one, Jerry?

i just registered!! The first time with the new car and I also signed up for the special "RAL" race who else is in? I hope everybody likes the new paint (vinyl) job it was a very big job that the RST Performance crew took on. I think it came out great for our first time doing something this big and complicated. See you all in August! Does anybody know anything about a test day on that friday before thinking i would like to test a little? :happy204:

ok here is the story about the vinyl. So i found a pic of a bimmer with a winter camo paint scheme and fell in love with it. So i went to the master mind (stephen blethen) with the pic and a very small idea of how to do it. Ok so the idea was to call stephen and beg him to help make this a reality and he said we can do this! :026: So with the computer program that he has for the vinyl cutter we sat down and started looking through camo designs and found one that we could blow up and stretch out to fit the car and after many hours of fooling around with this whole process this is what we came up with. The best part about camo is that u can just make some crazy shapes and play with them till they look cool enough to up on something. Stephen and my wife Sarah did most of the lay out and i applied about 80% by myself as stephen cut vinyl and they laid it all out. The whole process took us about 16 hrs to do. That includes design to install! I cant say thanks enough to Stephen Blethen and Sarah Dugan they help make this a reality and i would love to do it again. If anybody has an idea that they would like to do please feel free to contact us and we would like to help make your dreams a reality!

Checking the entry and found that there may actually be more IT7 cars than REAL ITA cars when its all done.

I can't speak to everyone in ITA but for me the last couple parts my motor needs are being delivered tomorrow which should give me plenty of time to assemble it and drop it back into the car so I'll be registering tonight.

More ITA entries than any other class :happy204:

Keep them coming.

Glad to see Jeff Wasilko entered with what looks like Jim Alley's car.

Yup, that's it.

Would love to meet you all in person. I'll be over with the LTD guys under the big timing tower/tv. I managed to remember the beer this time. Swing over!
