Whoa, I towed Memphis - St. Louis and back last weekend and my shocks are GONE! Any suggestions? - '95 Tahoe 4DR, 2WD pulling open trailer w/ 2nd gen. RX-7, used primarily for towing.

Thanks, Jarrod; I've heard good things about the Bilsteins and have their Sport Shocks on my TT. A guy w/ a Tahoe next to me in the paddock at St. Louis put some inexpensive air-adjustables from Advance Auto (probably Gabriel) on his and likes them. I may have to go w/ something local like that since I am leaving for the ARRC Thurs.
I had a 97 GM 1500 2X2 (pobably the same frame/suspension as the Tahoe??)that I towed an open trailer with. I put on Bilsteins and it made a HUGE difference. I loved them. I put 60K on them and they worked just as well at 60K as brand new.
Well worth the extra $$$

Bill, I concur with everyone above about the Bilsteins. I did some research for shocks on my Suburban a few months back and Bilsteins came up at the top of the list. the Shock Shop at http://www.shock-shop.com/ is a good place to get them as well. Good luck at the ARRC and I hope to see you there.
