Well, it looks like we won't have to buy new helmets to replace the SA95 helmets until after next season:

Snell won't be officially certifying to the SA05 standard until October of 2005, so no helmets would be available until after that. And, since the SCCA recognizes only the last 2 snell certifications, SA95 and SA00 should both be good through next year.
Of course, all this is speculation on what the SCCA will do. I wouldn't be surprised if they fooled us all and made only SA00 good for next year...
