Actually, while the GCR specifies the ratings that are allowed, stating a Snell 95 rating is good for 10 years is not quite correct.
1) Traditionally it's the current plus the previous rating that is allowed.
2) Snell has been late in issuing ratings for some time. They usually come out at least a year later now. That's not to say you can count on this every time.
It's a bit nitpicky, but that's the way it is.
