I saw Serra today at Lime Rock Runnig a SPU Acura under a minute.  He might be pulling double duty ITA/SPU.

Haven't heard of the guy? I've never met him, but I have seen his picture in a red Integra in the Hoosier ad in my latest copy of Grassroots.... something about being the 2004 ARRC ITA champ.....

Perhaps he was being sarcatic??

The guys in ITA at the ARRCs last year probably remember him, especially Bob Stretch.

Who said, just after the victory stand thing, "And I thought the Spec Miata race was going to be tough. I don't know what happened here..."

All I know is that it's light, it has a lot of power and will be driven very well. ;) Might give Fletcher a run for his money in the GT3 car. Shoule be good!

I have a feeling that Fletcher Williams in his GT-3 240SX with a wing and no ballast will be leading the field.

Isn't SPU for cars under 2.0L? Sorry, I'm not up on my SPU specs, but if that was true, wouldn't a 240SX have too big of an engine?

Nope, got changed to 2.5L for '05.

Serra's SPU Integra is running a highly-breathed-on Prelude 2.2L

I wish they had not done that. There are soo many cars under 2l than between 2-2.50 :( Its just another expense to have to raise the game.

But I suppose thats what I get for racing in a Super UNlimited class
