STL flywheel allowances

As I read it, Section 11. "For STL, stock diameter flywheel, clutch and pressure plate must be used." I don't believe the intention is to allow non-stock stock-diameter flywheels... or is it?

Yes, it is. Aluminum flywheels are legal.

If the rule is what was quoted, diameter must be stock but material is open. No?
