Wow...great vid quality! tell us about your set up and software. And...what car and motor do you have...and what do you rev to?

Video setup: older Sony Digital 8 camcorder on an SVTEK mount. The software is whatever came with Windows XP (Windows Movie Maker).
For the car, yes, it's an ITA Civic Si, with a still green and not quite tuned Tom Blaney engine, a Quaife limited slip and 4.78 final drive. I rev it to 7000, sometimes 7200.

Just a curious question. What kind of break in did you do on your motor? Time? etc....

let it idle for about an hour. Then a whole weekend (about 150 track miles) at VIR short shifting at 6000rpm, running dyno oil. I then changed over to Mobil 1. This was my first weekend revving it to 7000rpm.
it still needs some fine tuning and an ECU program.

Looks nice! Boy, The Chute sure looks different since they cut back the bank/trees. Doesn't look anywhere near as hairy (although, I'm sure it still is, love that corner!).

Very nice video - I haven't been to Summit before so this goes into my archive for review when I do go.

Were you able to plug your recorder into a VHS type jack on your computer and record the video with Windows media player? If so, I might be able to digitize some video.

Cheers,
