Dear Competitors,

TIFOSI OPTICS is coming on board as a new sponsor of the 2009 Driving Impressions Pro IT series. They will be involved in our last race weekend of 2008 but be on full-time for next year.

We just started to carry the line at our store last week at Lime Rock Park and the sales were incredible. They retail for $60-90 and some models come with different lenses including high-def lenses. They are perfect for the racer since they fit very well into the helmet and come with lenses for all conditions including overcast dark days. I'm buying a pair to look fast and intimidating on the grid. I can pretend I won them :-(

PS - I went to the Fitosi site and left them an email saying thanks - I encourage others to also - let those sponsors know we care.

Excellent Ben. I am working very hard to get us sponsors and products that we can use as racers besides hats and tees. It helps keep our costs down if we get something for free that we may have had to buy but the bottome line with Tifosi is they are such a great product at a fair price that people will want to buy them over higher priced brands. They will compliment our present sponsors and I really hope that our competitors realize that we will be the first grassroots road racing series in America winning money and have great sponsors. PLEASE follow Ben's que and promote our sponsors. They are all excellent products. It will pay off in the long run.

I will likely be in something ProIT legal next year but nothing is for sure yet... we shall see:blink:


on the bright side I will be in a F500 in two weeks at NHIS[edit:NHMS] :) I know they are damn annoying but atleast it's a racecar:shrug:
